Dr David Smart, a local recently-retired GP who leads on Mental Health for the GP alliance has been drawing attention to the huge mental health concerns that the pandemic has created, even suggesting that we are going to be in a ‘syndemic’ (that is, when two pandemics occur at the same time) formed of coronavirus and mental health.
He recently made a presentation to the Diocese of Peterborough, which you can watch here: https://youtu.be/8wZrEGSuKbA

under the shadow of your mercy
in this time of uncertainty and distress.
Sustain and support the anxious and fearful,

knowing that nothing can separate us from your love
in Christ Jesus our Lord.
