Kislingbury & Upton Community Church are a developing, vibrant church for all ages and stages of life, based in two growing communities on the edge of Northampton.

We are just about to launch into an exciting next stage of our development, and as part of this, we are looking to recruit a fabulous Youth, Children & Families Worker.

There are two primary aspects to this work;

  1. To work with the Minister of the Church, the Leadership Team, and the key stakeholders in developing and delivering our Church’s work with children, young people, and families. This will mean taking on a level of pastoral responsibility for the young people and children who are part of our Church family, as well as heading up and developing our existing Sunday morning programme for children and young people.
  2. To be part of a team that will develop family and community work in Kislingbury and Upton, including pioneering a new and innovative church service for all ages, on Upton.

It is also worth noting that, to some degree, we would like to tailor the role according to the gifts, calling and availability of the right candidate.

Working Hours and Salary

This is a part-time post, but to an extent, the number of days and hours worked could be negotiable. However, the successful candidate would be required to work Sundays.

The successful candidate would initially receive £20,000 per annum (pro-rata).

There is presently greater flexibility for how your hours could be worked during non-term time and we are happy to discuss this either before or at the interview stage.
