Accredited Relationships and Sex Education Online Training Course
June 25 @ 11:00 am - July 10 @ 4:00 pm£275
|Calling all youth workers, youth pastors … anyone with a passion for supporting young people!|
|In these uncertain times, our young people are going to need trusted adults like you more than ever, to help them navigate the emotional and relational impacts of lockdown and the Coronavirus.
And, as relationships and sex education (RSE) becomes statutory in schools this September, the church can play an important role in ensuring that young people are receiving healthy, helpful messages about relationships and sex.
If this sounds like something you want to play a part in but you don’t know where to start, or would like to deepen your knowledge of these issues, then we can help.
acet UK is a Christian charity with over 30 years’ experience providing school-based education on relationships and sexual health topics, as well as training hundreds of youthworkers, teachers and other educators across the UK – and beyond.
And our long established and respected RSE training course is now available online!
The training will equip you to:
And, for an extra £75, you can also gain a university-level accreditation in ‘teaching relationships and sex education’ – just choose the accredited version of the course when you book.
Working online via Zoom, the 24 hours of teaching time is spread across 6 days: our next course starts on June 25th.
Our training is unbelieveable value as the training fee includes your first year of membership to our Esteem network.
This means you will have a license to use our tried and tested core RSE teaching materials: lesson plans, activities and other resources. You’ll also get access to two 6-session programmes for small group targetted work: The Boys’ Project and The Girls’ Project.
There are limited places on all our courses, as we like to keep the group size fairly small to make the training interactive and to make sure trainees get the most out of it – so be sure to book soon!
