New Boys’ Brigade Group Flourishing in Great Billing

Back in October, The Boys’ Brigade & Girls’ Association had the pleasure of  opening their newest group – 1st Great Billing BB&GA at St Andrew’s Church, Great Billing.

The last few months has seen this group grow from just an idea, to a thriving group full to capacity. A positive example of the Boys’ Brigade & the Church engaging with the local community to make a real difference to the lives of children & young people.

Richard Burbidge, Rector at St Andrew’s Great Billing, shares his experiences of opening a group and the impact it has had on his Church. To read this article, head to – http://northantsbb.org.uk/new-group-open-in-great-billing/

The Boys’ Brigade in Northamptonshire is hoping to continue to engage with Churches across Northamptonshire, by hosting a free youth work conference on Wednesday 27th March.

‘Engage a Generation’ will explore youth perspectives of the Church, why it is important to work with young people, hearing from Church leaders about how the BB already supports their ministry and how the BB is positioned to partner with Churches & engage with a generation of children & young people. The morning session will also include a breakfast.

The session is aimed at Church leaders who are passionate about working with children & young people, both from Churches with lots of experience and also churches with little experience.

 Engage a Generation – Youth Work Conference – Wednesday 27th March – 8:30am > 11am – Kings Park Conference Centre.
