Exciting Job Opportunities in ECM Britain’s Northampton office.

European Christian Mission Britain is looking for 3 new members of staff to help us share Christ’s love and compassion in Europe.  Given their part-time nature and similarity of skills, it is conceivable that one person could do a combination of 2, or even 3 of the roles.  We are a small but effective office team looking after the needs of our mission partners in Europe.  We are based in the Moulton Park Business Centre, Redhouse Road, Northampton NN3 6AQ.

Supporter Relations Assistant for 3 days per week (to be negotiated).  The salary is £19.549.20 p.a. pro rata (3 day equivalent would be £11,729.52 p.a).

You will be responsible for ensuring that communication with our supporters regarding finance and prayer is of the highest standard. You will act as receptionist for the office but, crucially, you will correspond with individual supporters concerning their donations and be responsible for recording communications and maintaining the office database.

You will need excellent administration and communication skills. An ability to be organised, with good interpersonal skills is also important. There is an Occupational Requirement (OR) that the person appointed to the role will be a practising Christian as you will be required to represent ECM and its Christian ethos whilst working with supporters and sending churches of our missionaries who are required to raise their own financial support.

Finance Assistant for 1 day per week (to be done on one day or split over two).  The salary is £19,549.20 p.a. pro rata (1 day equivalent would be £3,909.84 p.a).

You will be responsible for ensuring that invoices are entered and reconciled in a timely manner.  There will be additional financial activities such as preparing Gift Aid submissions to HMRC and reconciling incomings and outgoings. You will need good financial and administrative skills. You should have experience of Excel and be sympathetic to our Christian ethos.

Personal Assistant to the British Director for 1 day per week (to be done on one day or split over Tuesday and Thursday mornings). The salary is £19,549.20 p.a. pro rata, thus the 1 day equivalent would be £3,909.84.

You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the British Director and coordination of special projects. You will need excellent administrative and organisational skills.  You will be relational, able to work confidentially and sympathetic to our Christian ethos.
