Christmas Eve Carol Singing in Northampton General Hospital
December 24 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pmFree
The Chaplaincy at Northampton General Hospital invite us
to sing carols around the wards on Christmas Eve.
The chaplain, George Sarmezey, says, “We normally gather in Cliftonville Restaurant at 6.45pm, people can leave their personal belongings there as it is locked up. Generally there are enough of us to split up into 4 groups to go around the wards. We start at 7.00pm and aim to finish around 8-ish. There are refreshments afterwards in the restaurant.
Could you let people know that anybody is welcome. Enthusiasm counts for more than singing ability. The staff and the patients really appreciate us going around for them.
Any musicians are also welcome, of reasonable ability, preferably portable instruments. I advertise the singing all around the Hospital Community via the screen savers we have a week before Christmas.”
