Building High Performance Teams (in business, church, or not-for-profit)

July 16 @ 9:30 am - 4:00 pm

Learn how to build a high performance team, recruit the right talent, retain the right people, and develop them so that your organisation excels and outperforms it’s competitors.

Who’s this event for?
For those in executive leadership (or owners) in businesses or not-for-profit of any size.

What’s it about?
Learn from the executives and operators from Chick-fil-A (America’s most loved fast food chain), sharing how they operate one of the top 10 most recognisable brands in the USA, with companies including Apple, Nike, Amazon, Google. Learn how they became debt free, and how they stay closed on Sundays but still outperform their biggest competitor KFC, by a whopping 3x.

You’ll learn from some of their top operators how they build their teams and train their people. You’ll get your questions answered first-hand from the team about things like how they know they’ve made the right hire and when it’s time for someone to go.

You’ll hear inside stories of great leadership and decisions that are so against the grain in today’s society that they’ll challenge your understanding of leadership. Decisions that continuously work for Chick-fil-A who are renowned for having the best people.

Chick-fil-A started over 70 years ago and turns over $10bn per year. But the company is known for its unique approach to business and people.

Following principles such as ; Customers First, Personal Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Working Together, and Stewardship, Chick-fil-A has over 2300 location across USA and a unique franchise model; over 40,000 applications are received every year to become a Chick-fil-A franchisee, but only 180-200 are selected.

Chick-fil-A’s average sales per restaurant in 2014 were $3.1 million. It’s nearest competitor KFC, sold just $960,000 per restaurant that year.
