A Pastoral Response to Abortion

March 24 @ 9:30 am - 3:00 pm

Free

You are warmly invited to a training day on Saturday 24th March (9:30am-3pm) to equip those in leadership and any pastoral/ministry role on how to respond sensitively and effectively to those affected by abortion.

If you live too far away, you can contact the organisation to arrange a training session in your area.

With one in three women in the UK having had an abortion, this will be a part of the story for many in our churches. How can we create an environment where this sensitive issue can be spoken of without fear of judgement, and a compassionate response given?

Speaker: Jenny Baines, a consultant for OPEN (weareopen.org.uk), a ministry of CARE (care.org.uk) and has worked with those affected by unintended pregnancy and abortion concerns for over 20 years.
