Assistant Manager Vacancy – Spencer Contact Furniture Re-use Charity

Spencer Contact has a vacancy for a full time Assistant Manager with particular responsibility for Fundraising and Publicity. Particular responsibility will be taken for coordinating and developing the charities publicity, fundraising and volunteer base. Other duties will include (as deputy to the General Manager) leading, managing and directing the charity’s workers and by appropriate administration. Also to provide cover for other staff members as needed during absences for holidays and sickness.

Spencer Contact is a Christian charity which aims share the Christian Gospel of hope by bringing practical aid to needy people in and around Northampton by the provision of furniture and household items. We have been serving our community in this way since 1999 and have grown to the stage where we help in the region of 1,500 individuals each year.

37.5 Hour week: Monday to Friday with some weekend and evening working.

Salary £18,500 per annum.
